![]() Note- I'm going to leave this thread open for a few more days, just in case I hit one of those issues again as I finalize my system. If you want, run Autorippr compression (is there a run command to run the FileBot part of the script without -all?).Video ID : 1 Format : AVC Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec Format profile : HighL4 Format settings, CABAC : Yes Format settings, RefFrames : 4 frames Codec ID : VMPEG4/ISO/AVC Duration. If you're using Ubuntu Server with the intent to be headless, set up Remote Desktop (see the link below) so you can use the desktop environment from another computer. in mkv i found this title '.DD5.1.x264-DON' how can i edit that i opened mkv file using mkvtoolnix, but could not find this title. If you're already using Ubuntu Desktop, you can skip this step. Click the 'Click to change output format' area on the right side of the converter and select MKV under the Video tab. Select the Correct Output Format In order to avoid re-encoding, you should select MKV as the output format. If you're using Ubuntu Server, you can actually update the OS to include a GUI with sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop. To do this, you can click the Add Files button or directly drag and drop the files into the program. The only disadvantage to this is you lose the automation of Autorippr, but here's the best solution I could find: ![]() ![]() For some reason, the command line version seems to struggle at times, whereas the desktop program seems to work without a problem. So ultimately, it seems like one of those three changes fixed the problems I was having.įor future users that may run into similar issues, please note that I did find a solution to ripping movies with stronger than usual protection: Rip using the MakeMKV desktop program. Not only did it rip seamlessly, it compressed without the issue I mentioned before where the file no longer exists. Yesterday I was able to test a movie on the actual server, and it worked! I chose to rip and compress a non-Disney movie (Les Miserables), and in addition, I mounted it. ![]()
